Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all my fellow readers,    Like I said from the previous post, we have been given the task to tell a a story in the form of a podcast. This assignment is to show how podcast can be used as a medium of language teaching and learning. This is my first time ever creating a podcasts and I must say it was very challenging. The most challenging part have to be the recording part. There are too many noise pollution during the day that I cannot record my podcast at night, so I must do it at night. There is also the factor that I live in a house with 13 other men, who rarely sleeps early for they are playing games. So, I must wait for all of them to go to sleep before I can record anything. The most fun part was the editing. I use the application Sony Vegas Pro 15.0 to edit the podcast. It was really fun as I got to play around with the sound effects, the mixers and a lot more. Assalamualaikum and a very good day to my reader,    Judging from the title of this post, I guess all of you know what topic will going to be discussed today. Podcasts. I bet you have encountered this name once or a few times before this and thinking "What in the world is this thing?". Thankfully you are on my blog, as I will be explaining what is Podcast. Well, briefly explain at least.  So, what is podcast? According to Oxford Dictionary , podcast is a digital audio file that is available on the Internet and can be downloaded, it typically available as a series or installments that be received by subscribers automatically. Too lengthy?  Basically, it is something you subscribe to and listen, either online or downloaded into your phone. Somewhat similar like a radio, but more fun because you are able to listen to stations that suits you liking. Assalamualaikum and a very good day to my fellow readers,  This is our beloved Madam Azidatunoor making an introduction for Internet Technologies    Today's entry I will talk more on the course that requires the birth of this blog itself. The course is Information Technology for Language Learning, not to be confuse with Computer Application that was taken during my first semester.    Computer Application taught us the in and out of a computer, from its hardware up until its software. We have covered everything from motherboard up until the coding in a working CPU. Information Technology for Language Learning, or IT for short, is course that require us to apply all those information we have learned in Computer Application to make use of it in teaching language.      In this era that oversees a rapid growth in the development of technology, it is not a peculiarity for us to use technology in language learning and teaching. Assalamualaikum and a very good day to my fellow readers,        I am Muhammad Aizad Iskandar bin Roshaizad and welcome to my blog for the course Information Technology For Language Learning. Before I explain the course information, let me introduce myself a little bit more.     I was born on the 23rd of November 1997 and raised in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. After I finish my high school at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan King George V in 2014, I further my study at UitM taking Foundation in Teaching English As A Second Language (TESL).  After finishing my Foundation, I continue into Degree here in KUPTM in Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied English Language Studies. Currently I am in my fifth Semester.        A simple background information, my favourite pastimes are painting, cooking and reading.
